Privacy policy

PromptForge is operated by Amit Verma, Jalandhar, Punjab, India (“we”). This policy explains what personal data we process under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025.
What we collect and why
- Account: your Google account name and email (when you sign in with Google), or mobile number — to sign you in and secure your account. We record when you confirmed you are 18+ and accepted this notice.
- Plan and usage: your plan, minutes and posts used, invoices — to provide the service and meet tax law (GST).
- Your content: prompts, uploaded photos and videos, generated outputs — only to create what you asked for. Media files are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Prompts and transcripts are deleted within 7 days.
- Brand kit (optional): logo and colours you save — until you delete them.
- Safety records: if a prompt, upload or report may involve child sexual abuse, sexual violence or impersonation, your account is put on hold and the related prompt or report text is kept as evidence for 180 days (or longer if the authorities require), as Indian law requires.
- Technical logs: IP address, device and job metadata — for security, kept for 180 days as required by CERT-In directions.
We never sell your data and never use your content to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who process data for us: cloud hosting, storage, AI model providers (to generate scripts, captions and voices), SMS/email providers and the payment gateway. Where required by law, we share data with authorities.
Canva (only if you choose it): if you connect your Canva account and press “Edit in Canva”, we send that design to your own Canva account using the access you allowed. That copy is then kept by Canva under Canva’s terms and is not deleted after 24 hours. We store only an encrypted access token, and you can disconnect at any time.
Your rights
You can access, correct or erase your data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights. Use Delete account or contact our Grievance Officer. We respond within the time the law requires.
Children
The service is for users aged 18 and above.
Security and breaches
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. If a personal data breach occurs we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board as required.
